Philadelphia native, Dedan Tolbert is the author of the award-winning novel, The Love We Had…, “Ask Dedan” Sex, Dating & Relationships –Volume I and host of "The Dedan Tolbert Show" which airs weeknights at 9pm EST.

Dedan is also the founder and CEO of TB&D Enterprises, LLC, which was founded in May 2006, to help the not-so-well-known author achieve their literary dreams.

In a very short time, TB&D has become a successful company which offers services ranging from publishing, event, planning, website and graphic design, tax preparation, discount travel and relationship counseling.

In his spare time, Dedan writes freelance articles on dating and relationships. He has written for local Philadelphia newspapers as well as popular magazines and has covered topics such as: interracial dating, racism, Greek life, homosexuality, abortion, HIV, why men cheat, domestic violence and many others.

On October 1st, 2006, the self-published novel, The Love We Had... was released and has sold over 10,000 copies. Upon its release, it was named one of the “Top 10 Best of 2006” by TheWritersInn.com, whose panel of voters included bestselling authors such as Zane, Karen Quinones Miller and Daaimah Poole.

Since the release of The Love We Had..., Dedan has been on a promotional book tour and has done over 100 appearances and book signings. Currently, Dedan is working diligently on his third novel, which is entitled Can’t Let Go.

On July 27th, 2007, "Ask Dedan" Sex, Dating &Relationships –Volume I, which is a collection of the best "Ask Dedan" advice questions, was released and is available in bookstores as well as www.DedanTolbert.com.

Dedan has given self publishing seminars at various Philadelphia high schools. TB&D Enterprises, LLC has implemented mentoring and internship programs in these schools to help our youth realize the importance of staying in school and always believing that your dreams can come true.

Dedan's most recent project is launching a radio show entitled "The Dedan Tolbert Show" which airs weeknights at 9:00pm EST.

Since the shows launch, Dedan has interviewed bestselling authors, actors and entertainers such as Dru Hill, The O’jays, Essence magazine bestselling authors, J.L. King, Anna J, Miasha, T-Styles, Electa Rome Parks, Francis Ray and many more.
